I wanted to say what a huge difference you have made to our lives – seems amazing that you single handily have set us all on a path to recovery. The home life is 99% calmer and in such we are seeing our little girl come on leaps and bounds as my husband and I now understand what she needs to cope with the world and how helping break down the day in to bite size steps has revolutionised our life. We now have an understanding about the calm and firm and quiet home life that she needs to function and we also make sure she is kept more active in positive pursuits. All of which have helped greatly. Without doing self diagnosis Irealise that I too, have the condition, which is why there are so many triggers for me around my daughter and also that I totally empathise with who she is and how she feels so in helping her with her ADHD it is in turn helping me with mine.

I know it will be 5 steps forward and 3 steps back but I cannot thank you enough for diagnosing her. You are so empathetic and sympathetic to what is such an emotive area and your understanding about the desire by parents for their child not to be labelled is refreshing and genuine in only a way that another parent can understand.
